Mine got hacked a while back. Just change your pass, then go on vent and ask one of your guildies to report it to a GM, then log in. It will boot him off he won't know the new pass.

the problem is prolly related to it being EU (BNET account merge), lots of people geting hacked and then the hacker activates the autenticator code. thats what happened to me: i open wow, put username, put pass and then WTF autenticator code... now i wait for blizz to get its job done

They took 4 days to investigate my account. They actually do have to investigate and its not easy to get the details of what they need. It's like a crime scene investigation, once their done with your account, I.E The scene of the crime they lend it back to you. If you include full details including the way he was talking it shouldn't take them that long at all.

Blizz fails at investigating Smog.

I told them I got hacked a while back, just got my account back & the hacker used up the 500g I had. A week later I received 500g in the mail from Blizz.

It's not a full roll back, they just return items although they state your supposed to get a roll back.
As for two weeks, go find me a cop that can find out who stole a TV with literally no evidence at all in 2 weeks.

Starters only complained about the gear because it sucked horribly. If you just boost the starter gear, it would all be fine.

It may have been too harsh an initiation, but if people flock to this server and easily get what they want, they'll leave out of boredom or we'll just have a large population with 95% of players being complete and total retards with no skill.

Just think of starter gear as, as I said earlier, an initiation, or an application to a job. If you accept every bum off the street, your company will eventually die out from a lack of brains, or grow so big that the community will die.

BTW: another point for necroing.
